    Happy Birthday!

As a Birthday present - a song from the movie I recently saw - "City girl":

PS. Do you recognize the drummer? Wink

I shipped cakes to both of you. I couldn't afford boxes, but I found the best bubble envelopes that money could buy!. I don't forsee any problems. Smile

For some reason, I always draw a block whenever I see that guy's face in a clip, and yet in my head I can name a ton of movies he's been in every single time I see him! Oh well, thankfully the video has end credits!! Laughing

I noticed on HKMDB that lead singer Richard Yung also composed the score for CITY GIRL. On his MySpace profile, he spells his own name "Richard, Ka tsai Yung" (or Yung Ka Tsai), as opposed to Yung Ga-chai, as it appears in the DB, which also makes no reference to his membership in this band. I used to enjoy updating that kind of info at the site. Back in the old days . . . At least it will be interesting trivia for a review when I finally get to see that movie, so thanks for the link!

Thank you! I'll change his name on HKMDB.

UPD: Just spotted him in the movie itself in a brief appearance

Thanks for that. Good to know there's an "inside man" hanging around the satellite office here. You might find more trivia tidbits coming your way in the future. Wink

We should have a thread to tell insider(s) like Ted Wong to modify HKMDB. I've found many changes that I could not post anywhere and, of course, forgot them (though I have them in notes some place). I'm still mad at HKMDB for taking that away for non editors.

Indeed, a belated happy birthday to you both! Very Happy

According to his Facebook updates, Cal's still very much pursuing stand-up glory. Hopefully he doesn't forget the little people. Wink

Oh God, sorry. I forgot. I'm terrible. Yes, I've been mega busy these days with the stand-up and I've let everything else slide. I never meant to pale . Happy belated birthday Shawn. Bet that's the latest birthday greeting you've had Shocked . The stand-up's going well. I've developed quite a good routine as a mild-mannered psychopath, which usually goes down really well. The Toronto story hasn't yet made it to the stage, but I expect it will do before too long. I'll be doing a gig on 8th July that will be streamed on the internet, but I'm not exactly sure how that works yet.

So what have I missed? Has Brian finally admitted to all those unsolved murders yet?

So your playing yourself. Always good to do that.

You have missed quite a bit, Brian ahhhhh....

Brian is doing fine. The problem was Brian admitted to murders that happened a few centuries ago.
